FAQ

1. How do I enroll?

Enroll in Lancaster Photography School and start learning today HERE!

2. Do I have to enroll to take classes?

For the remainder of 2024 you do not need to Enroll to take any live classes offered on the Event Calendar. These are all offered on a class-by-class basis.

Beginning in 2025, all classes will be offered by enrollment only.

3. In what order should I take the classes?

Classes are laid out in the order they were designed to be taken in the Online Educational Hub. Because the classes build on one another, we suggest taking them in order.

4. Will I earn a certification or degree after completing the classes in The Online Educational Hub?

No. You do not need to have a certification or a degree to be a photographer in the United States. Classes are offered for your knowledge only.

5. What if I’m not interested in doing this professionally?

While our classes are designed with those who want to earn compensation for their skills, whether full-time or as as side-gig, anyone who wants to learn more about photography would benefit by enrolling. Photography is a skill you can use in many facets of your life — not just professionally!

6. How long will it take me to be successful while enrolled in LPS?

Our LPS Alumni tell us “everything changed” from their very first class and they started to increase their prices more than they thought possible after only a few months with LPS.

We can safely say, based on wide-ranging personal lives and learning styles, the average is a year of learning and implementing the strategies learned in class at LPS Events to build a solid client base that fills their calendar for the following year.

How long it will take you to successfully complete all of our classes and support videos (35+ hours of instruction) depends on many personal factors: job status, kids, number of commitments already on your plate, learning style, and knowledge-base at signup are just a few factors that will effect how long it will take to move through the material successfully.

One thing has been clear over the years: LPS Plus has been a fast track for current students. Either way, we believe in you!

7. What happens if an Event is canceled?

Instructors are humans too. We all get sick or have things come up that are out of our control…including rain for our on-location, natural light events from time to time.

While our instructors take LPS Events very seriously, if something comes up out of their control…including inclement weather, you will be contacted at the email address you provided when you purchased your ticket that the event has been canceled and refunded back to the original payment method.

8. What happens at meetups?

It depends on the location! Mostly, we just hang out and get to know each other! Sometimes we talk shop….sometimes we don’t! It’s about making genuine connections.
