Tax Prep Organization for Photographers

This ONLINE, beginner class lead by, Heather Leicy of Heather Marie Photography, a wedding and senior photographer who loves all things ice cream and numbers, will walk you through what you need to know and how to prepare* for the most dreaded part of being a photographer: tax season.

Class will start with the fundamental vocabulary so you can understand what your accountant is asking you for.

Then we will walk through the different numbers you need to gather together and how you can work it into your weekly rhythm so you aren't swamped when March comes around each year.

This is a jam-packed class meant to alleviate the stress that comes with taxes. So you can feel confident in your numbers and even gain an understanding on where your business stands financially all year long.

This class will cover:

- Common tax vocabulary and important forms

- How to categorize your expenses

- How to file independent contractor pay

- A break down on how to stay on top of your numbers throughout the year

- Plus so much more!

*This class is meant to give photographers suggestions on organizational strategy prior to submitting paper work to a certified accountant to file for them. Neither Lancaster Photography School nor Heather Leicy hold a CPA. We encourage you to submit specific tax law questions to a certified CPA.

Note: This class is NOT part of our PASS PROGRAM. Reserve your seat today!
